Jonathan Dye welcomes you to his Sunday School class!

Our Leadership

Jonathan Dye leads our class, guiding our weekly study and discussions with care and dedication.

Who We Are

Every Sunday morning from 9:45 to 10:45, our adult Sunday School class gathers at Highland Park Baptist Church. We're a diverse group of mid to older adults united by our shared faith and commitment to spiritual growth.

How We Gather

Our class follows a consistent rhythm:
• Welcome and announcements
• Sharing prayer requests
• In-depth Bible study using the "Bible Studies for Life" curriculum

Our Spiritual Foundation

At the heart of our class is a powerful biblical principle:

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." - Romans 12:2

We are committed to trusting and obeying Jesus Christ. Our deepest desire is to be led by the Holy Spirit, producing the Fruits of the Spirit and strengthening each other's faith.

The Fruits of the Spirit We Cultivate

Inspired by Galatians 5:22-23, we focus on developing:
Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control

Our Community

We're more than just a Sunday morning class. We:
• Actively participate in church events
• Build meaningful connections
• Share meals together at members' homes
• Support one another through prayer and fellowship

Our Shared Journey

We come from different backgrounds, but we're united in our goal: to understand God's Word, be transformed by the Holy Spirit, and discern God's perfect will for our lives.

Our Mission

To grow together, support one another, and continually seek God's guidance in our spiritual walk
